Houston chamber to host event on online marketing

The Houston West Chamber of Commerce – which covers Bellaire – has announced it will be hosting a marketing clinic in early March.

The purpose of this clinic is to give Chamber members a chance to learn more about search engine optimization (SEO), which is the process of making websites perform well in Google and other search engines.

This marketing clinic is being billed as an “Internet Marketing Clinic” instead of a search engine optimization clinic, with the name change intended to reflect the ongoing changes to the more traditional form of SEO. This clinic is meant to give attendees the latest information on how to market their businesses, products, and services on the internet.

As the Chamber notes, the internet world and SEO is constantly changing, creating new challenges, questions, and opportunities for businesses. This hands-on clinic will give businesses a chance to better understand how to market themselves.

As always with any Chamber event, this is not just a class but also a networking opportunity, so attendees would be wise to bring Business Cards.

The class itself will be held on Wednesday, March 8. The time is 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Beth Guide, owner of Vertical Web, will serve as host. The event will be held at Vertical Web, located at 4582 Kingwood Drive #134, Kingwood. The event is free for Chamber members, who can register via the event website.
