City officials in Bellaire, Texas, have announced that they are actively seeking community input on the upcoming Regional Drainage Improvement Program. This large public input session is designed to ensure that all community members have an opportunity to provide their input into the Program.
The Regional Drainage Improvement Program is meant to ensure that the community has adequate infrastructure to manage Bellaire’s continued development and redevelopment. Part of any public improvement plan needs to be public solicitations. As such, this is the first of two gatherings that are meant to help with this significant project.
According to the Mayor’s website, this plan has been awarded to the Ardurra Group, Inc. As such, Ardurra will be managing this public gathering. As well as being advertised on the internet, poster printing can be a particularly useful method of promoting events such as this.
The event itself is being held on Tuesday, July 18 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The meeting will take place at the Bellaire Civic Center, which is located 7008 South Rice Avenue. If individuals can’t make this one, keep an eye on the calendar for information about the second event.
Furthermore, civically minded individuals may be interested in attending the July 13 Open House, entitled “Public Forum on Bellaire’s Future.”
People interested in this event can find more information on that event here.
