Bellaire to host Trolly Run

Bellaire officials have announced that their annual Trolly Run will be taking place again this year.

The event, coordinated by Bellarie officials and the Al Lawrence Running Club, is set up to give locals a chance to meet their neighbors and participate in a fun race.

There are several runs that can be taken on part of the Trolly Run. These include a one-mile run or walk, a 5K wheelchair event, and a 5K stroller run. The event will conclude with a post-race party at the Bellaire Town Square. As such, local officials have advertised the event as a broader community gathering.

The post-race event will have food, drinks, music, and more, making it something of a party event for race participants, their family, and friends. Attendees should note that due to safety concerns, no dogs will be allowed to participate in the race or post-race event.

Event officials are seeking sponsorships for the event. Sponsoring will come with a variety of promotional opportunities, including the chance for local businesses to advertise on all poster printing and other promotional materials for the event.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 1, with a time to be announced at a later date. It will start at 7008 S. Rice in Bellaire. The race course will be confirmed nearer the time.
