In a unanimous decision, Arlington City Council recently gave its approval to two new housing projects to be completed within the city’s jurisdiction.
The planned developments are a gated subdivision geared towards seniors, and a new apartment building to be named Arlington Riverside Apartments.
The apartments building is to be located on a 14-acre parcel of land at 6500 US 287, which is already zoned for buildings of this density. The units will range in size from 659 to 1200 square feet, and the residents of the building will be able to make use of planned amenities such as walking trails, an outdoor pool, a clubhouse, and a playground. Councilwoman Sheri Capeheart was pleased to approve the development, as the firm that will be building it is family run and she has been impressed by its other buildings.
The subdivision will contain 35 homes that will all be over 2,500 square feet and geared towards older adults. It will be named ‘Knott’s Landing’, and will be located on Little Road in Southwest Arlington, which is an area that has seen much development in recent years.
New construction like this can be good news to the local economy. The firms working on the project will need to have many different business Forms printed, and these can be provided by a Stationery printing company, custom designed to suit the firms’ individual needs.
