Arlington swings into May with golf event

The 2nd Annual Quack Classic Ducks Unlimited Golf Tournament is allowing people to get a team together and enjoy a day of golfing and other exciting activities, such as raffles and early bird specials.

The promoters may have used poster printing and brochure printing to share information about this tournament with people in this community, and throughout the surrounding regions.

This year’s event will have a shotgun start and a four-person scramble where the players tee off for the best shot, with the process being repeated from the fairway all the way to the green when the ball drops into the hole. All men play silver tees, women play burgundy tees, while seniors on this course play green tees.

All players can purchase two mulligans at a cost of $5 each, as well as 3’ string at a cost of $10 at the registration table on the day of the event. Mulligans cannot be used to win proximity prizes.

Traditional golfing attire must be worn on this day including proper length shorts and standard collared golf shirts.

The cost is $100 per person or $400 per team of four. The tournament will be held on Saturday, May 3, with registration at 7:00 am at the Tierra Verde Golf Club located at 7005 Golf Club Drive in Arlington, Texas.
