Arlington seeks new upscale motel
Having a new upscale hotel is one way that the Arlington city manager feels the area could maximize its potential, and he is hoping to attract developers to the area with that goal in mind.
The city is already home to the AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Park, aswell as the Arlington Convention Center, and hopes are that if there were more convention class hotel spaces available, it would attract even more large meetings to the area. It could also encourage people to choose to stay in the city when they visit the area’s theme parks and other attractions. This could prove to be a big tax boon to the community.
