Teaming up with the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city's leaders have created a new identity, which they hope symbolizes the opportunities offered for visitors and residents.
Soon to appear on city buildings and vehicles, a new logo and a new slogan have been launched, declaring Arlington as 'The American Dream City'.
With poster and banner printing no doubt already underway and Print companies likely to be asked for reams of new Stationery, the city's communication manager, Jay Warren, explained why the slogan was selected. He said:
“We’re the American Dream City because there are thousands and thousands of stories where people are out there achieving the 'American Dream' on a daily basis.”
Warren went on to explain that while national events such as the Super Bowl and the World Series are taking place in the city, it was important to let folks know that Arlington is about far more than that. Saying that it was time for the city to explain what it is happening for itself, Warren added that Arlington has a “comprehensive story” to reveal to the public.
The new logo will also appear online and on street Banners almost immediately.Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Print
