The 85th anniversary of the Iroquois Steeplechase will be celebrated this year in Nashville, continuing a famous longstanding tradition of steeplechase racing in Tennessee.
Held annually, the event brings together racing, community engagement and charitable support. The proceeds benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and many other local non-profit organizations. It also aims to promote the sport of steeplechasing through a full day of competition.
Since 1981, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt has received more than $11m from the Volunteer State Horsemen’s Foundation. Steeplechase staff and board members remain highly involved with the hospital throughout the year, supporting its work and continuing the strong partnership.
The event features a wide range of race-day experiences, from shared premium seating areas to general admission and tailgating spaces. While some seating areas are already sold out, additional options remain available, including access to designated hospitality sections and reserved dining. These offerings provide different ways for attendees to engage with the event throughout the day.
For events like this, organizers often consult local Print shops for Logo Design and banner printing services. These materials support event promotion, improve visibility as well as help communicate important information to attendees.
The 85th Iroquois Steeplechase will take place on Saturday, May 9, at Percy Warner Park, located at 2500 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville.
