Conference for small businesses convenes in Nashville

Business leaders from across the nation will converge on Nashville in late January in a conference with national scope.

Considered a premier event, the National Small Business Conference’s purpose is to assist business owners with the contacts and logistical knowledge needed to acquire government contracts. Over 250 representatives from federal agencies will be on hand, as well as over 130 exhibition booths. Attendees can visit with industry leaders, exchange ideas, and learn of the latest changes to the rules and regulations regarding government contracting. The conference will feature educational sessions, business matchmaking, chances to network, and educational sessions for entrepreneurs. Some of the breakout sessions feature training by representatives from Cherry Bekaert, GSA National, and The Boon Group. Business Cards and Promotional Products often help promote business efforts.

This conference is sponsored by the National 8a Association, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide education and guidance to business leaders wishing to connect to partnering government agencies. Its staff facilitates business between federal agencies, prime contractors, industry professionals, and business vendors.

The National Small Business Conference will be held January 26 to 28, 2026 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, located at 2800 Opryland Drive. Various types of registration are available, including for members and non-members of the National 8a Association, as well as government agency representatives.
