This August, Hammer & Stain Mount Juliet will hold the Goose on the Loose Paint & Bingo Party for any artistically minded people interested in a fun-filled night of laughs, art, and ‘goosing’ around.
Hammer & Stain Mount Juliet is a DIY workshop and art studio that specializes in creative and social experiences that run the gamut of artistic and crafting activities. The studio offers activities for kids, romantic workshops for date nights, and combination craft plus game nights, such as the Goose on the Loose Party happening in August.
The paint party will feature a 14-inch or 24-inch concrete goose statue that participants can paint and decorate to their choosing. These statues are 40 to 60 pounds heavy, thus ideal porch decorations that will stand up to the elements.
All paint supplies will be provided, and there will be mini outfits for purchase to clothe one’s goose. While the geese are drying, there will also be a bingo game in which attendees can win outfits and accessories for their goose.
Organizers wanting to drum up interest in events like this may decide to invest in local flyer printing companies to create colorful Flyers to hand out.
The Goose on the Loose event is slated for August 1 at 6:00 pm. Hammer & Stain is located at 3544 North Mount Juliet Road.
