The first Soul Serenade will be held at the Christian Brothers University Theater on August 3 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, with all proceeds going towards supporting Open Arms Care.
There will be a wine and appetizers reception, followed by the music of Mark Baker, a local saxophone player and composer. In all probability, there will discussion among those in attendance about the organization and what further things can be done to support the programs it provides. That is why it would be wise for anyone planning to attend to arrange for business card printing from Memphis printing companies and to bring a few cards with them to the event. Ideas can easily be thrown around and it is best to have a business card to pass on, so that each person can follow up. This will make this event bigger than it appears and will result in more fundraising ideas for the organization.
Open Arms Care is an organization that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It provides life skills, job training, therapy, and helps people to become integrated into the general society. Everyone wants to fit into society and to be allowed to contribute in their own way. Organizations such as this provide not only services to help but they help increase the self-esteem and confidence of those for whom they provide those services. It is this sort of event that helps ensure that Open Air Care can continue to offer their assistance.
