Memphis has always been known for its eclectic mix of community celebrations, and an upcoming citywide event promises to attract visitors from across the city.
Organizers of the Memphis FoodieLand Food Festival claim that this event is the largest of its kind throughout the United States. According to a recent press release, this year's celebration is expected to be attended by more than 250 vendors. Although cuisine is the primary theme, there will be plenty of additional on-site attractions. Examples include handmade goods, retail items, souvenirs, games, live music, and activities designed for children.
