Vendor spaces still available for inaugural music festival

This year will welcome the inaugural Memphis International Rockabilly Festival.

This event is set to celebrate the Rockabilly history of the city, and in particular the artists of Sun Record and the Sun Studio located not far from where the festival will take place. Several Sun Record Rockabilly legends will be making appearances and entertaining the crowds.

The festival will start off with a VIP launch party the evening before. This will be followed by two days of live music, a muscle car hot rod show, art displays, VIP meet and greets, and book signings. Guests can witness the Rockabilly experience, get a tattoo, or attend the celebrity sock hop.

Vendors will be selling a variety of foods, musical accessories, and arts and crafts. Official merchandise such as T-Shirts and beer glasses will also be available. Spaces are still available for vendors and prices range from $250 up to $800, but applications must be received and full payment must be made by July 24.

Participating vendors may contact Memphis banner printing companies to have an item made that would bring more attention to their booths.

The Memphis International Rockabilly Festival will take place in the Edge District at Marshall Avenue and Monroe Street from August 15 to 16. General admission tickets are $15 for each day or $25 for both, while VIP tickets are $95 or $145 for two days. Call 901-867-7007 for the latest news.
