Local grillers are invited to put their skills to the test at an upcoming BBQ contest welcoming vegans and omnivores alike.
The first ever Vegan BBQ Cook Off and Festival will be an afternoon of food and fun, and all ages are welcome. Tickets are $15 for anyone over the age of eight, and to help make it a family-friendly celebration, the younger guests will be admitted free of charge.
Whether they want to get grilling or just enjoy sampling the food on offer, this function will have plenty to offer all who take part. There will be information stations set up, and prizes will be awarded to both the contestants and some of the audience members. The attendees will be able to vote for their favorite BBQ fare, and judges will assess the fare too.
Preparing for a large public activity like this often includes obtaining banner printing and various services from local Print shops. These stores will also be able to offer award certificates, trophies and other items to help the day go smoothly.
The first annual Vegan BBQ Cook Off and Festival will be turning up the heat in Memphis on April 17, running from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Overton Park will be the location for the festivities, and more information is available via its Eventbrite page.Get a Free Quote for Print
