The King returns to Memphis this August

Elvis Presley is certainly no stranger to Memphis, and while The King himself may be gone, his legacy continues to live on with events like the annual Elvis Week taking place in August.

Elvis Week is intended to celebrate the legacy of this musical maverick, and there are many attractions open to visitors. Previous years’ events have drawn a large crowd, and this year’s should be no different.

Guests can expect conversations about Elvis hosted by those who knew him personally, bus tours of Graceland, candlelit dinners, book signings by popular Elvis authors, and complimentary tickets to the Elvis: The Entertainer Career Museum.

Several musical performances will be taking place throughout the week. Examples of performers include Tony Orlando, Larry Strickland, and Norbert Putnam.

Due to the sheer variety of attractions, organizers are bound to be using several methods to advertise what awaits. Common strategies include banner printing, newspaper Stationery, and radio promotions, all of which can provide additional information.

Elvis Week is being held between August 6 and 16. While many attractions will take place within Graceland Mansion, other venues may be included. There are also five different pricing packages, one of which is a VIP tour. Details about prices, and what is included within each itinerary, can be obtained by visiting the official Graceland Mansion website, or calling 1 (901) 332-3322.
