Memphis residents get the first look at new vehicles
The Memphis International Auto Show is returning to the city for three days early in the New Year.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to see more than 250 new models of cars, truck, SUVs and many other vehicles. The Toyota Drive Center and the Gossett Motors Cars Ride and Drive will allow drivers over the age of 18 to test drive over 20 cars. The Hot Rod Experience is set to feature a variety of customized vehicles.
There will be family activities and special days during the three-day event. Family Day will be on the last day of the show and will allow children aged 12 and under to enter free of charge, with a balloon artist on hand to entertain them. Employee Appreciation Days will provide free admission to those who work for local auto dealerships with proof of employment, such as a business card.
This event attracts thousands of visitors from all over the Memphis area. There may be something of a spike in the number of business card printing orders for those employees who want to take a trip to the show.
The Memphis International Auto Show will be held at the Memphis Cook Convention Center from January 8 to 10, beginning at 10:00 am each day. Tickets are $7 in advance or $8 at the door for adults, and $6 for seniors, active military, and children between the ages of 7 and 12. Call 1-310-531-5984 to learn more.
