Memphis plant sale fundraiser seeks helping hands

Memphis Botanic Garden offers a wide assortment of programming to the public, and an upcoming event will help to make sure it has the financial resources to continue to do so.

The Garden will be hosting its annual Fall Plant Sale – a timely event since autumn can be a good time to install trees, shrubs and perennials. The species and cultivars on offer will have been specifically chosen because they tend to perform well in the growing conditions often found in Memphis, and volunteers will be on hand to help.

The organizers of the sale have reached out to the public, seeking volunteers to lend a helping hand. They will be helping the shoppers to box up their purchases, greet guests, collect shopping carts, and aid with other tasks, and the sign-up system for this activity is open now.

Many not-for-profit organizations depend upon the generous spirit of their volunteers, and a printing services company will be able to provide a variety of ways to thank them for their willingness to get involved. Everything from custom designed certificates to Corporate Gifts is available, and they can all be personalized for a specific individual.

This volunteer opportunity is seeking helping hands for dates from October 6 to October 9. The venue for the sale will be 750 Cherry Road.
