The Daily Memphian will hold a seminar for small businesses in September at the Memphis Botanic Garden.
The Small Business Seminar is an event where guests can learn from experienced entrepreneurs from the community. The featured speakers will share their personal stories and give advice to aspiring small business owners. Attendees can stay after the presentations to network with other guests during a wine and cheese reception.
There will be four presenters at the event. People can hear from Beverly Robertson, the founder of Trust Marketing & Solutions and the former president of the Greater Memphis Chamber. Robertson’s son, Ryan Robertson, will also attend the seminar. There will also be presentations from Scott Tashie, the owner of City Silo Table + Pantry, and Monique Williams, the owner of Biscuit and Jams.
The Daily Memphian is an online publication that was created in 2018 to provide journalism to the Memphis community. The CEO of the organization is Eric Barnes, the host of Behind the Headlines and the former COO of Towery Publishing.
The seminar for small businesses will be held on Wednesday, September 4th from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Tickets to the event are $28.52 per person. All guests must pre-register for the program by 11:00 am on the day of the seminar.
