Memphis meal to offer farm-fresh fare

Seats are now available for a Memphis event that will transform Central Gardens into an outdoor eatery that will bring the community together to celebrate.

Edible Memphis and Central Gardens Association (CGA) have teamed up to host the first ever ‘Dinner in the Gardens’ al fresco dining experience. Individual general admission tickets for the function are $250.00, while those looking for an even more special evening are invited to check out the VIP option. These include admission to a pre-event party, as well as other perks.

The planners of the meal explained that the food served during the occasion will be sourced fresh from Tennessee farms, most of which will be close to the city. They are hoping that by bringing neighbors together, it can help to build a strong community. Several of the city’s top chefs will prepare the fare for the evening, and cocktails crafted by Old Dominick as well as wine, beer, water and soft drinks will be served. Print shops can prepare printed Menus as well as lists of the area farms that have contributed to an affair like this.

This special occasion, which is open to anyone who is 21 or older, will be welcoming the community on October 19. Its start time will be 5:30 pm, and additional information for anyone who is interested is available on the function's online listing.
