Memphis fundraiser to include tea with a twist
Kids who are ill or injured often need specialized care, and a Memphis fundraiser will give the public a way to support a local hospital that provides such of services.
Each year, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital provides care to a large number of children, and the GenerosiTEA fundraiser has been held for the past 11 years to help support its work. This year’s celebration will look a little bit different to previous ones due to pandemic precautions, but its organizers have worked hard to make sure it will still be just as much fun as in the past.
To help keep everyone who takes part safe, the function will be held online. The tea party will be delivered to the door of each ticket holder, and each box will include tea, crafting supplies, and cookies for decorating, and while the recipients enjoy their own personal celebration, they can feel good knowing they are helping local kids.
The current pandemic has caused many not-for-profit organizations to rethink their fundraising efforts. Professional print shops can help, and will have many ideas for transforming an in-person event to one that takes place online.
The 12th annual GenerosiTEA has been scheduled for Saturday, February 6. It will welcome guests from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm, and the registration fee is $25.
