Back to school time can be very exciting for kids and parents alike, and a Memphis event will celebrate the occasion with an afternoon of activities. Filled with food, fun and friends, it can be a great time for students, and it will also give the local mobile food service sector and other eateries a chance to shine.
Admission is free for the Memphis Back 2 School Food Truck Festival, and it has been planned with youngsters in mind. Along with the activities for the kids, it will offer grownups a chance to learn more about the resources and other supports in their home community, and it will be an alcohol-free event.
Food trucks, caterers and restaurants from Memphis and the surrounding areas will supply the food for the occasion, and there will also be a rock climbing wall, face painting, bounce houses and other inflatables, a game truck, and even a petting zoo. After school care, art, educational and health programs will be among the participants in the resource fair, and many of these may be handing out Business Cards that have been printed with their contact details.
Memphis is set to host this back to school celebration on August 10, and all families are welcome. It will be held in Windridge Park, and it will kick off at 12:00 pm.
