Gala to support Memphis farmers market

The Memphis Farmers Market (MFM) will hold a fundraiser gala in November at the Central Station Hotel.

The MFM Harvest Gala is a fundraising event where people can enjoy a group dining experience while supporting MFM’s mission. The dinner will include three courses prepared by the team at Central Station. Live entertainment for the gala will be provided by Graber Gryass, a jamgrass band based in Memphis that formed in 2018. The group has released several original songs, including Morning on the Water, Living on a Faultline, and Waking Up. There will also be an auction at the harvest gala.

MFM is an organization that aims to provide fresh foods to Memphis by giving local vendors a platform to sell their goods. The group also educates the community on nutrition and the importance of eating local products. The nonprofit outdoor marketplace was formed in 2006. MFM has become a venue for many local businesses, such as the Brazilian Bake Shop, Lake’s Farm Raised Catfish, and The Paper Sack. The marketplace has grown to also include garden artisans.

The MFM Harvest Gala will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets to the fundraising gala will cost $135.23 per person. People can also support the MFM directly through online donations.
