Festival set to welcome Memphis mushroom fans

An event will give both foodies and those who are concerned about sustainability a wealth of information about mushrooms this fall.

The Memphis Mushroom Festival, which is scheduled for Meeman Shelby Forest State Park, will introduce the public to both wild and cultivated mushroom species, how they can be used and where to find them. It will include foraging walks led by identification experts, and there will also be classes, entertainment, and other fungal fun.

Along with the foraging expeditions, the participants will be invited to take a seat for the lecture and presentation that are on the agenda, and the cooking demos will show how mushrooms can be used to prepare a variety of tasty dishes. Everyone is welcome, and the focus will be on the fungi that can be found in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.

Hosting this sort of function can be a complicated process, but thanks to professional printers, items including promotional Pens, reusable cloth Bags printed with the event’s Logo Design, and other materials that fit in well with the overall theme of the occasion can be produced.

The Memphis Mushroom Festival will be popping up at Meeman Shelby Forest State Park from October 1 to October 4. More information is available on its website.
