The 5th annual Dreamfest Weekend celebration is taking place this month, just before the observation of Martin Luther King Day.
This Friday, January 15, there will be a concert held at the 1524 Events and Banquet Facility beginning at 7:00 pm, for which tickets are $10 each. The host will be P. A. Bomani and performers will include CCDE, Brecan Bland, Liv Green, and Life's Poet.
An Artistik Celebration, in honor of the Artistik Lounge of the Madison Dance Studio, will take place on Saturday night, also at 7:00 pm and at the same venue. Guests will enjoy free food, drinks and live music from artists like T. O. Crivens, Omega Forte, and Tyke T.
The weekend will end with the premiere of the family-friendly ballet ‘Rella Remixed’, a hip-hop fairy tale at the Buckman Performing Arts Center beginning at 2:00 pm on Sunday. Tickets cost $10 each. Later on in the evening, there will be an event at the Artistik Lounge from 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm, hosted by T. O. Crivens.
Organizers of this annual event will likely invest in services such as poster printing from their favorite Memphis printing company.
