The St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend is taking place over three days beginning at the end of this month. Funds raised will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The event is set to start off with a wellness expo that will be held at the Memphis Convention Center. Over 100 vendors are expected to be on hand to sell race merchandise and wellness products, and provide information about other upcoming marathon events. Vendors can purchase space for $800 up to $4,100. All participants must pick up their race package here in advance of the marathon.
There are five separate marathons taking place over the weekend. There is a full marathon, a half-marathon, a 10K, a 5K, and a one-mile kids’ marathon for children aged 11 and under. Fees are $140 for the marathon and runners can qualify for the Boston Marathon. The half-marathon and 10K are already sold out, the 5K is $50, and the kids’ marathon is $15. Participants can also collect pledges to earn even more money for the hospital.
It is likely that items such as race bibs and printed T-Shirts will be provided by a Memphis printing company.
