The Mid-South Farm and Gin Show is taking place in Memphis for two days this month. It is a presentation of the Southern Ginners Association and Foundation.
The show will be preceded by the Foundation's annual meeting, director's reception, and honors banquet, which will take place on February 25 at the Peabody Hotel. This is only open to members.
The two days that follow will be filled with educational exhibits on topics such as biofuels, conservation, and wildlife management. There will be a discussion forum entitled ‘Profitability and stewardship together - through technology’, a rice marketing seminar, the grain market outlook, and a discussion of Southern corn production. Among the speakers who will be appearing are Richard Brock, Bill Robertson, and Shane Stephens.
The public will also be invited to attend an update on what was covered in the annual meeting. Many exhibitors will be on hand to showcase their latest products and services, which will also likely include the handing out of Promotional Products such as custom Pens. Attendees aged 18 and over can also compete for cash prize drawings.
The Mid-South Farm and Gin Show will be held at the Memphis Cook Convention Center from February 26 to 27, beginning at 9:00 am on both days. To learn more about this event, call 901-947-3104 or visit its website.
