Triumphs of business ownership celebrated in Sioux Falls

This fall, Hey Sioux Falls 2020 is being hosted by Startup Sioux Falls to congratulate entrepreneurs who have gone through the trials and tribulations of owning a business.

This event is accessible to anyone who has a genuine interest in joining the startup community here at Sioux Falls. Inspired entrepreneurs and well-established business leaders are encouraged to attend regardless of experience, as some topics may cover what to do during the early stages of growing a business.

Startup Sioux Falls is an organization that manages startup resources including economic development, community podcasts, and the local media. This annual celebration is supported by 1 Million Cups along with the Zeal Center for Entrepreneurship.

At Hey Sioux Falls 2020, the six best entrepreneurs are going to receive awards for making progress on their business and contributing to the entrepreneurial community at large. In this case, the awards being distributed are the New Startup, Startup Champion, Restaurateur, Corporate Innovator, Small Business, and Social Impact.

Entrepreneurs could receive a nomination starting this fall. Those who are selected by the panel leaders will be dubbed the winner if they meet the award criteria.

Hey Sioux Falls 2020 is going live at the Orpheum Theater located in the downtown area on Thursday, November 5. Doors will be open at 5:30 pm, though the ceremony begins a little later at 7:00 pm.
