Sioux Falls reception to celebrate two local artists

Next month, Rehfeld’s Art & Framing will hold the "Shared Reflections" Artist Reception celebrating the work of two local career artists, Nancyjane Huehl and Angela Behrends.

This will be the first co-exhibition the two artists will share. Both have found connection and artistic inspiration in nature and the minutiae of daily life. The exhibition will feature works that have been created using a variety of methods and materials, including Print, paint, and mixed media. The works are intended to carry a contemplative quality that also exudes energy and represents a dynamic, intentional relationship with the world.

Huehl’s work has been featured in exhibitions including but not limited to the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society International, the New Orleans Art Association International, Women Artists of the West International, and South Dakota Art Museum. Behrends taught foundation art 2-D and 3-D design to students at Dakota State University, and her works have been featured in various public and private collections throughout the state.

The artist reception is scheduled for Friday, March 6 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Rehfeld’s Art & Framing is located at 431 North Phillips Avenue, Suite 101, Sioux Falls.
