This August, the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls will hold the ‘80s Adult Night at the Zoo, the second event in the Adult Night series.
The Great Plains Zoo is a beloved local attraction that houses animals from all the seven continents and includes a train, carousel, and splash pads. The zoo also hosts various seasonal activities, such as the Adult Night series, which invites people ages 21 and up to enjoy themed festivities and after-hours fun.
The August event is described as the “ultimate retro night” where attendees can come dressed in their coolest jean jackets and neon clothes and enjoy some throwback fun. The event will feature live music from the Dueling Duo, which includes Andy Gibson & Ryno Merriam. There will also be food like potato skins, BBQ meatballs, spinach dip bread bowls to get nostalgic over. Beverages such as sangria and rum and coke will also be served. ‘80s era games like jump rope and hopscotch will be available to play.
