Sioux Falls to roll up for special circus

This year, Sioux Falls will enjoy the 78th Annual El Riad Shrine Circus.

The event is put on by the El Riad Shrine, which is also based in Sioux Falls. All proceeds from the circus go to the shrine.

The circus will perform at the Sioux Falls Arena, which has free parking available in all four lots attached to the arena. There will be reserved seating available, or general admission. Reserved seating tickets are $20 per adult, and $13 per child aged 12 and under. General admission is $10, or free for children under 12 with the use of a coupon. Coupons will be available at a variety of participating locations in Sioux Falls, including Arby’s, gas stations, and Sunshine food stores.

The circus will have many of the typical aspects of circuses, such as actors, acrobats, and animals. Snacks will be available for purchase at the event. In previous years, there have been animals like tigers and elephants at the shows.

The Shrine was formed in 1888, and has been operating since then. It is involved in the Shriners Hospital for Children, and helps with its costs. Organizers of such events often like to have Flyers or possibly Banners to help advertise, and these are available from local Print shops.

This event will have nine shows, all running from April 25 to April 28.
