Sioux Falls will host an awards ceremony this November to honor local entrepreneurs and support the startup community.
The event, called Hey Sioux Falls, is designed to highlight the ups and downs of entrepreneurship and bring together the community’s entrepreneurs and small businesses. Startup Sioux Falls, in conjunction with the city Chamber of Commerce and other entrepreneur organizations, invites all entrepreneurs regardless of their business level to attend the night of fellowship.
There will be a designated networking time and an awards ceremony, which will honor six entrepreneurs for their dedication to their business growth and the community. Nominations for the awards will happen before the event, and then leaders from the entrepreneur community will decide from this pool of finalists. To prepare for a night of networking, entrepreneurs just starting out may turn to Print shops specializing in business card printing.
Hey Sioux Falls is slated for Thursday, November 5, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Orpheum Theater in downtown. The address is 315 North Phillips Avenue. Networking starts at 5:30 pm and the award ceremony will follow at 7:00 pm. Registration is free at eventbrite.com, with an option to include a donation with registration. More information can be found at heysiouxfalls.com, or attendees can email questions to Matt Paulson (matt@mattpaulson.com) or John Meyer (john@lemonly.com).
