Next month, the American Advertising Federation of South Dakota will host the event The Dirty Truth: Creative Consumer Research in Sioux Falls for any market researchers or related professionals who wish to learn how to better connect to customers.
Peg Murphy, an associate professor at Columbia College Chicago, will lead the workshop, bringing with her over 20 years of client and agency experience as a brand strategist and director of corporate communications for well-known brands such as Apple, Motorola, Crate & Barrel, Liz Claiborne, and Walgreens. She uses this vast expertise to mentor to students and professionals in advertising, marketing, and communications.
November’s event will uncover consumer truths by exploring alternative qualitative techniques that can work in both digital and in-person research. Attendees will learn how to get creative with their consumer insights just as they do with concept work and thereby discover genuine consumer truths of not only what consumers are saying, but what they are feeling inside, termed “the dirty truth.”
Professional workshops are frequently advertised as Flyers posted in communal areas of workplaces, and local flyer printing shops can help with the printing of such Flyers.
The workshop is scheduled for November 17 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. It will take place at The Country Club of Sioux Falls on 3400 West 22nd Street. Member admission is free, while non-member admission is $30.
