Sioux Falls to fall head over heels in Bloody Marys
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Sioux Falls fans of the Bloody Mary will have a chance to celebrate their love of the infamous tomato cocktail at the city’s Blood Mary Fest.
The festival will be hosted by the Midwest Blood Mary Fests, which hosts festivals all over the Midwest that are devoted to showcasing the Bloody Mary cocktail. The Bloody Mary, invented in either the 1920s or 1930s, has cemented its place in food history as that love-it-or-hate-it brunch drink that packs a punch. Now, the cocktail inspires large-scale festivals, with attendees coming out in droves to taste different Bloody Mary creations.
To control the crowds, the Sioux Falls fest will be offered in two sessions: a morning session and an afternoon session. Attendees will have access to unlimited samples of Bloody Marys, as well as tastings of craft beer and other alcoholic beverages. The venue this year has doubled in size, which means room for more vendors, activities, and fun.
Banners are often the decoration of choice for organizers looking to decorate large venues for festival-type events. Local print shops specializing in banner printing can offer their service to these organizers.
The Bloody Mary Fest is slated for February 8 from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. It will be held at the Washington Pavilion, located at 301 South Main Avenue.
