The Blue Ball: Party with a Purpose gala will take place next month in Sioux Falls to raise money and awareness of diabetes and how nutrition can play an integral role in managing it.
The fundraising gala will be hosted by Let Me Be 83, which is a movement by the Rivere Foundation, an organization that advocates an alternative diabetes management system that incorporates nutrition and proper usage of insulin. It also advocates for access to affordable insulin for all. The organization also helps to educate and counsel newly diagnosed individuals and their families.
The ball will feature a social hour where guests can mix and mingle, enjoying each other’s company while drinking specialty cocktails. Guests will enjoy a selection of curated low-carb cuisine, as well as live music and electrifying entertainment. Funds raised by the gala will go towards education and counseling programs, advocacy for access to insulin, and the development of low-carb diabetes nutritional camps.
Fundraising galas may attract important figures within the community, and guests who attend these events may decide to bring a supply of Business Cards with them for networking purposes.
The gala is scheduled for April 15 from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm. It will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls Downtown on 201 East 8th Street. Tickets are $150.
