Sioux Falls festival to jam out for good cause

Next month, the Sunday Funday Parking Lot Party will take place in Sioux Falls to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and its programs.

The AFSP is a nonprofit involved in as many communities as possible across the country. Its mission is to support individuals who are dealing with thoughts of suicide, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, or other mental illnesses. The organization also provides integral resources and programs to help families of those who have lost their life to suicide.

The Parking Lot Party is in its second year and will take place in the parking lot of Tinner’s Public House. The event will feature a variety of activities and entertainment suitable for all ages. The main event will feature a concert with musical performances from Denham and Jetley Park. There will local food trucks providing tasty bites, and there will also be a beer garden stocked with popular brews. Other activities include games, contests, and vendor booths.

Events such as this may be advertised on Brochures that detail event specifics. Organizers may seek help with brochure printing for such events by visiting Print shops in their area.

The Parking Lot Party is scheduled for Sunday, September 8 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tinner’s Public House is located at 449 West 69th Street. Admission is free, while food and certain activities may have a fee.
