IT professionals and data engineers in Sioux Falls should note that Upskills Certifications will be holding the Big Data and Hadoop Training Workshop this July.
Upskills Certifications is a user-friendly, continuing education platform for students and workers interested in honing their skills. The platform offers more than 30 programs in its areas of cyber security, quality management, and project management. The big data administer training in June is geared towards data engineers, cloud administrators, system administrators, and IT professionals.
The course will provide an in-depth understanding of Apache Hadoop, an open-source framework used to efficiently store and process very large datasets by allowing clustering of multiple computers to analyze the datasets. Students will learn about the HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) and Hadoop cluster, including Impala, Hive, Flume, Pig, and Scoop. The course will also discuss cluster management solutions, Cloudera Manager, and core Hadoop distribution. There will be four industry-based projects for students to complete that comply with Cloudera’s CCAH CCA-500 certification.
Workshops such as this may rely on methods of printed advertising, such as flyer printing, to spread awareness of event specifics.
The big data workshop is scheduled for July 25 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will take place at the Regus Business Center, which is located at 101 South Reid Street, Suite 307. The in-person class fee is $2,499.
