Sioux Falls charity ball to unmask injustice

Sioux Falls will hold the Masquerade Charity Ball Benefitting Call to Freedom in May to raise awareness of human trafficking.

Call to Freedom is an organization that supports victims of human trafficking by providing victim-centered supportive services and after-care case management services so that survivors have a stable and healthy path to recovery. Such services include mental health resources, safe housing, medical assistance, life-coaching, and trauma management. Proceeds raised from the ball will go towards enhancing these services.

The event will be a masquerade-themed ball, and guests are expected to attend dressed formal attire such as ball gowns, suits and ties, and masquerade masks. The event will feature a social hour with a cash bar, including a complimentary “Freedom” cocktail, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts made by seven local chefs, live music from local band One More Song!, dancing, and a live and silent auction. There will also be a message from Call to Freedom and a special “unmasking” ceremony.

Elegant events like this often include special Stationery items such as fancy place cards on tables. As such, organizers may call upon Stationery printers in their area.

The event is scheduled for May 6 from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. It will take place at Blue Haven Barn and Gardens, located on 46594 268th Street in Sioux Falls. Tickets are $75.
