Sioux Falls celebrates art, vehicles, and tattoos

The Sioux Falls Empire Art & Iron Show will showcase three aspects of Sioux Falls: tattoos, art, and vehicles. The vehicles are custom cars and motorcycles. All proceeds from this show will go to the Sioux Empire Pit Rescue.

The custom vehicles are largely privately owned and are on display only. The art will run along the same theme – all of the works of art will be related to the custom vehicle culture. There will be multiple styles of art, and many of the artists will be local to Sioux Falls as well. Some works of art may be for sale during the show.

There will be live tattooing taking place during the event, as well as a competition. These local tattoo artists will be showcasing their work. Many of them are likely to have Business Cards on hand, as well. There will be other live entertainment as well, primarily rock music.

The event will be held at the WH Lyons Fairgrounds, in the Armory Building, in Sioux Falls. Tickets are $5 per person; children 12 and under are free. The event will go all day, from 10 am to 10 pm. There will be multiple vendors at the show, particularly in the custom vehicle industry. The Sioux Empire Pit Rescue is a volunteer-based non-profit organization working in and around Sioux Falls to rescue and rehome dogs and will be the beneficiary of this event. This event is currently scheduled for Saturday, March 2.
