The 12th Annual Downtown Burger Battle is returning to Sioux Falls this January to offer the burger throwdown of the new year and excite the tastebuds of the town.
The burger competition has been a part of the food and entertainment scene of Sioux Falls for 11 years and counting. The event offers the community a unique opportunity to collaborate, taste, and explore the patty offerings of local city joints to the crown the best burger in town. The competition will run from January 1 to January 31 to allow the public ample time to explore all that the contestants have to offer.
Those wishing to participate in the judging can visit any participating venue and order a burger or even order as delivery online. After enjoying the burger, they are then supposed to rate the burger on a scale of one to ten points. Customers will apply this rating to the categories of flavor, patty, toppings, bun, and presentation.
