The Sidewalk Arts Festival is coming once again to Sioux Falls early this September. A fundraising event for the Visual Arts Center of the Washington Pavilion, it is traditionally held on the first Saturday after Labor Day.
This popular event attracts approximately 40,000 visitors annually. The main draw of the festival is the more than 250 arts and crafts vendors from at least 10 states. Artisans will be selling a wide variety of items such as handmade jewelry, oil paintings, sculpture, and clothing. There will also be food for purchase and several non-profit organizations are expected to be providing information about their programs and services.
There will also be kids' activities such as the Kirby Science Discovery Center and the children's studio. Live musical entertainment will be provided by such artists as the Melley Brothers Band, the Singing Boys of Sioux Falls, and Groove, Inc.
The non-profit groups that will be handing out information to passersby may decide to invest in services from Sioux Falls brochure printers. This will give them a handy tool to list everything that the public needs to know about their organization.
The Sidewalk Arts Festival, which is free to attend, takes place in Downtown Sioux Falls on September 6th from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Call 605-367-7397 to learn more about all of the planned activities.
