The 75th annual Sioux Empire Fair is taking place for 10 days this August in Sioux Falls.
For the young (and the young at heart), there will be a full midway with carnival rides and games. Music lovers will be able to enjoy free concerts by bands such as American Scarecrows, Collective Soul and even the Beach Boys.
There is also set to be a number of competitions in topics such as arts and hobbies, cooking and baking, horticulture, horses, and livestock. Other events will be bingo games, a discovery barn for children, a professional rodeo, model train displays, a pig-calling contest, and a beach party. In addition, a fair trade show will offer merchandise for sale from all over the world.
Fairs are a regular occurrence all over the country and organizers in places like Sioux Falls often work with printing companies to prepare. This might include purchasing Banners to hang over the stages, Signs to point visitors in the right direction, or Posters to display in local public buildings.
The Sioux Empire Fair is being held at the Fairgrounds from August 1 to 10. Tickets are $7 or $2 for children between the ages of 6 and 12; admission will be free every day until 1:00 pm. A carnival ride wristband is $30 a day or $65 for all 10 days. Visit the official website for more information.Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Signs Get a Free Quote for Banners
