New school chief needed in Warwick
A school district in Rhode Island has revealed that it is still searching for a superintendent in the aftermath of two candidates losing interest in the post.
Anthony Pope and Richard D’Agostino have both opted to abandon their efforts to win the position. If a suitable candidate fills the post then they may be tempted to employ business card printing in Warwick.
Eugene Nadeau, a senior figure on the committee for the local schools, has told The Providence Journal:
The job opportunity was made public back in the fall of 2014. Over a dozen applicants came forward initially, but there are now no suitably qualified individuals pursuing the post.
Nadeau has suggested that hiring a temporary superintendent is the best way forward. Such a move would enable the committee to keep looking for the ideal person to occupy the post in the long-term.
Mayor Scott Avedisian has recently commented on the situation, stating that the temporary leadership deficit will not be problematic. He has maintained that he has faith in the capacity of individuals already within the system to rise to challenges as they come up. In addition, he has given his backing to a transparent recruitment process.

“I would imagine there are some retired superintendents who might not want to be home all day and they're willing to take a temporary position. It is a trying period right now."
