Providence to be site of fall FBLA leadership conference

Providence is one of four cities chosen to host a Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) event this fall.

FBLA is an organization dedicated to helping students become community-minded business leaders for tomorrow. The organization will be holding two conferences each of which will take place at two different locations at different times. The one taking place in Providence will be a National Fall Leadership Conference, which is held for middle and high school students.

At the National Fall Leadership Conferences, students have the opportunity to explore their education and career options as well as take part in business and leadership skill labs. Highlighted in the labs will be successfully making the high school to college transition.

Also, as part of the conference, CliftonLarsonAllen will present information on succeeding in the professional world and Fidelity Investments will discuss how to spend, save and invest wisely.

Print shops are frequently asked to supply organizations that participate in career-oriented events with an assortment of Brochures, handouts and Promotional Products.

On hand will be representatives from the military, colleges and universities, and potential employers with whom students can speak with directly as well as other young people from around the country.

The National Fall Leadership Conference in Providence will take place November 10-11; the registration deadline is October 18. Additional information about this event can be found on the FBLA website.
