Providence confirms return of arts and crafts market

Residents from across Providence are once again expected to attend a large open-air market taking place across two days. This event will provide a host of opportunities for those hoping to get a jump on their holiday shopping, and anyone simply looking to enjoy a day outside.

The 2026 Providence Makers Market is expected to feature more than 90 vendors from throughout the greater metropolitan area. Some categories slated to be available include housewares, textiles, fabric arts, jewelry, candles, apothecary products, ceramics, pottery, and unique handmade items.

In addition to retail purchases, all visitors are encouraged to sample refreshments offered by on-site food trucks. These include gourmet products associated with Providence restaurants. Organizers state that the main intention of this two-day fair is to strengthen the retail community, and to provide a means for businesses to connect with their customers.

Coordinators of time-sensitive events will always make it a point to begin advertising as soon as possible. Some tried-and-tested approaches include brochure printing in bulk, hanging banner ads throughout the community, offering leaflets displaying the location of vendors, and keeping social media pages up to date.

The 2026 Providence Makers Market will be taking place between Saturday, November 21st, and Sunday, November 22nd. Doors open at 10 AM, and close at 4 PM on both days. All activities are being held within The WaterFire Arts Center located at 475 Valley Street, and no tickets are needed.
