Multi-restaurant delivery service Wonder comes to RI

“Wonder”, arguably considered the “fastest growing food delivery in New York”, is extending to Rhode Island, just across the river less than five miles from Providence.

The Wonder chain currently operates locations in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is, according to the company, beginning a large expansion. The planned service for Rhode Island Wonder will be operating out of a gas station inside a convenience store.

Flyer printing services often help new restaurants get their menu into as many hands as possible.

According to Wonder their business model is as follows:

“We partner with award-winning chefs and restaurants…from Michelin-star spots to hidden gems, our team of experts select the country’s best version of your favorite cuisines. Then our chef partners teach us how to replicate their dishes.”

Emma Rowland, Wonder’s public relations representative explained that the company presently operates 15 locations across the Northeast and plans to increase that number to 35 by the end of 2024. Opening in September the Newport Avenue location will feature personalized recommendations and seamless order tracking.

The first Rhode Island location will be at 125 Newport Avenue in East Providence and according to Rowland will offer the company’s unique Multi-Restaurant Ordering, that enable customers to enjoy made to order food selections from a variety of eateries in a single order. Some of the platform’s most popular restaurant will be included at the Rhode Island location.
