Health symposium provides new knowledge in Providence

A health-conscious day is in the works for Providence healthcare professionals, offering new industry insights and access to Continuing Respiratory Care Education credits.

The 11th Annual Dr. Meyer Saklad Respiratory Care Symposium will provide a meeting ground for healthcare professionals to continue learning, earning credits, and networking with their peers. The in-person event, which Jacquie Barbaria is organizing, aims to advance respiratory care to help more patients in Rhode Island.

The agenda will start with a complimentary light breakfast after arrival and check-in. Attendees will then listen to a lecture from Dr. Maria Koenigs about the Diagnosis and Management of Pediatric Airway Stenosis. Other speakers will share thoughts on asthma guidelines for patients, cystic fibrosis management, and mechanical ventilation options. Brochure printing is an excellent way to share the day’s agenda with participants and attendees at symposiums and networking events like this.

This year’s event has been approved for six continuing respiratory care education (CRCE) credits, helping healthcare professionals who attend maintain their licenses. It will also provide time for attendees to network with their peers and forge new connections. All guests must obtain a visitor’s pass at the venue’s front desk.

The symposium will be held at the Rhode Island Hospital on Eddy Street in Providence on Thursday, June 5. Doors open at 7:00 AM, and registration costs $91.80 online.
