The Crib to Crayons Expo is taking place for two days this April in Providence. A portion of proceeds from this event will be donated to local charities.
Everyone who attends will receive a free swag bag packed with promotional items from expo vendors and other local businesses. The event is set to feature workshops for new and expectant parents, demonstrations, and information from local community groups about their programs and services. Vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of child-related merchandise and there will be a range of games for the children.
One sure-to-be-popular activity planned for the expo is the Diaper Derby for babies up to 25 pounds. The entry fee is $10 and finishers in the top three positions will receive ribbons and gift cards.
Organizers are still looking for vendors to participate in this year's expo, and are hoping to fill 120 exhibit spaces. Fees range from $850 up to $1,090. Sponsorships are also available for $500 to $15,000. Call 508-472-3093 for more information.
