East Side Providence residents receive filming notices

It appears that yet another Hollywood film will be shot in Rhode Island as Flyers from Charlestown Productions concerning an upcoming filming schedule were recently received by residents of Benefit Street in Providence.

The Flyers said that filming would be for a Warner Brothers production and would take place next month. This follows on the heels of a Warner Brothers announcement that it would release in October of 2026 a M. Night Shyamalan’s movie titled “Remain”; however, that production company is Two Beacons Productions and not the afore mentioned Charlestown Productions.

Flyer printing services are particularly useful for disseminating information in a targeted area.

Although another major production has been anticipated this summer by Rhode Island’s film industry, there has been no official announcement and the head of the state’s Film & Television Office, Steven Feinberg, was not immediately available for comment. There was no comment from Mayor Brett Smiley’s spokesman either.

According to the Flyers, the production will be offering unspecified compensation to resident in the neighborhood for use of driveway space for lighting setups and vehicles and indoor spaces for use as cast waiting areas.

The signature on the Flyers was that of the production’s assistant location manager, Olivia Minervini. She played a similar role in the production of “Ella McCay”, which is due to be released in December, when it was filmed last year in Rhode Island.

The so-far unnamed movie mentioned in the flyer is to be filming on Benefit Street, August 16.
