Early November will see an end to the nearly two-year void in large-scale events with the coming in early November of Rhode Island Comic Con (RICC) 2021 at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin Donuts Center.
On hand at the Con will be actors Tara Reid and Keith Coogan as well as wrestler John Mayfield and voice actors Matt Lanter and Steve Downes. Several new artists will be there too, including Chris Campana and Matt Smith. Plus, fan favorite and convention veteran Bill Diamond, along with his creature-creation production company.
Among the attractions at the Providence Comic Con are a panel event with Kevin Smith an actor and director on Friday, November 5. Additionally, fans can buy autographs and photo-ops with Smith who has wrapped up “Clerks 3”. More actors from “Clerks” will be at RICC, including some of the original 1994 cast members.

Providence residents as well as those from outside the city who have come to RICC can sample the food at the traveling Mooby’s pop-up during the entire convention weekend.
The release of RICC’s exclusive comics will include special covers of The Boys #1, Venom #1 and Vampirella #25.
As of now, mask use will be mandated for all RICC attendees, regardless of vaccination status; however, health and safety protocols might still change.
Rhode Island Comic-Con will run November 5-7.
