The Boas and Bowties Gala will be taking place this June, and is a fundraising event for Providence ¡CityArts! for Youth.
The theme of the gala is the ‘Roaring 20s’. Guests will be treated to appetizers and a cash bar, and music is set be provided by the New Providence Big Band. In addition, there is expected to be a 1920s photo booth and a silent auction.
During the event, the Sr. Ann Keefe Award for Creativity and Social Justice will be given to Lynne McCormack, who is the Director of Art, Culture and Tourism for the City of Providence.
Providence ¡CityArts! for Youth provides free afterschool programs in the visual and performing arts for children between the ages of 8 and 14.
Organizers of this event designed printed Invitations that were mailed out to residents of Providence. They may have invested in services from local printing companies to design and create them, since a well-designed invitation can encourage more people to attend an event.
The Boas and Bowties Gala will be held at the Rhode Island School of Design's Woods-Gerry House on June 6 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Tickets are $50 until May 26 and $65 after, and sponsorships are available for $200, which includes admission for two people.
